Dallas-August 2008-Tonsil Removal/Eye Stitch, etc

Wow, it's been a busy summer for sure, and I have many posts to get up on the blog, but for now I'll settle on posting the current happenings of the family. To back track a little, about a month ago when we returned from Myrtle Beach, Olivia had a sinus infection and then she and Amelia both developed strep throat. Much to our surprise, we found out Olivia's tonsils had grown back. She had a rough week or two and even had to be on oxygen at night. So, we checked all of the plans and figured in school being back at the end of the month and decided that this last week/this week were the only times we could make the trip. Olivia had her tonsils out on Thursday as well as an eye stitch in her left eye and a bone fragment removed from her head that had not healed from her cranial surgery last November. Here's a few pictures of our trip. We were fortunate to be able to see some of our friends we've met over the years...some were at the same hotel, some were at the hospital and about 5 families met up at the Purple Cow the day before Olivia's surgery (it's a kid's burger joint in Dallas).
